Two-hour delay on Wednesday

Charleston Southern University will operate on a two-hour delay on Wednesday, January 10 due to the impacts of the severe storm on Tuesday. All university offices will open at 10 a.m. Employees and students are encouraged to allow extra time for traveling safely to campus. 

Please note: 

  • All in-person classes scheduled for 8 a.m. or 9 a.m. will be held online. Students should seek further instruction from their professors on Blackboard. 
  • Any in-person course 10 a.m. or later will resume normal operations. 
  • All buildings, including the Rivers Library, Brewer Center, Student Center, Hunter Center, athletic facilities, and academic buildings will open at 10 a.m. for normal operations. · The dining hall and Buc Stop remain open for residents. Follow the dining services Instagram for updated hours for Chick-fil-A and Java City.
