By Jan Joslin | October 1, 2024

The Psi Chi Board of Directors and Psi Chi headquarters have announced that the Charleston Southern University Psi Chi chapter has been named a Model Chapter of the Year for 2023-2024.

Psi Chi is the international honor society in psychology. Dr. Christina Sinisi, CSU professor and chair of psychology, said, “Only 43 chapters in the nation received the award this year, and the award represents the hard work and dedication of the students, especially the officers.” Sinisi has served as the chapter’s advisor for many years.

Psi Chi has more than 1,150 chapters, and just 43 chapters won the Model Chapter of the Year Award.
