Faculty Spotlight: Dr. Carissa T. Smith

Dr. Carissa Smith is the author of the recently published Cyborg Saints: Religion and Posthumanism in Middle Grade and Young Adult Fiction in Routledge’s Children’s Literature and Culture Series. Promotional material says, “Cyborg Saints charts new ground in joining religion and posthumanism to represent the creativity and diversity of young people’s fiction.”

Smith is also the arts and humanities editor of Christian Scholar’s Review which publishes peer-reviewed scholarship and research.
