Bea Wray is an instructor in entrepreneurship at the Hans A. Nielsen College of Business. She completed her undergraduate at Emory University (Summa Cum Laude) and her MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School. She has had a multi-faceted journey, as an effective communicator (through both keynote and published work) about entrepreneurship, leadership, and women in business over the past 20 years.
She has extensive experience in entrepreneurship, including being a founder, co-founder, executive director, mentor, investor, and board member of several startups and non-profits, including Millennial Women Network and The Creative Coast. She serves as a Convene Chair building marketplace ministry through Charleston Christian business owners. Previously, she led the ForbesBooks Entrepreneurship Practice Group. One business exit afforded Bea six years off to dedicate her time to raising her three children.
Outside of CSU, Wray’s greatest joy is spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She is excited to see the growth and value entrepreneurship brings to both current and future CSU students, and ultimately, our future leaders.
Your Purpose. Our Mission.
Marketplace Ministry has the greatest potential to share the love of God. My role as allows me to do just that.
