Dr. Tankersley is a Professor and Program Director in the Doctor of Physical Therapy at CSU. She has been practicing physical therapy since 1990 and began teaching in entry-level PT education in 1998. She entered a full-time academic career in 2005, where she has been a faculty member and administrator. Dr. Tankersley received her associate and bachelor degrees in physical therapy from the Medical College of Georgia (currently Augusta University) in Augusta, Ga., her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from A. T. Still University of Health Sciences in Mesa, Arizona, and her PhD in Pediatric Science at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah. Dr. Tankersley has been a Board-Certified Pediatric Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties since 2008 and has over 30 years of clinical practice experience in pediatric physical therapy.
