Susan was born and raised in Watkinsville, GA area and moved to the Charleston area in 2009 when her husband relocated for his job. Susan and her family currently reside in Moncks Corner. She married her husband Michael and they have three children, Lillian, John, and Emma. Susan holds over 5 years of healthcare experience in the healthcare profession as a Registered Nurse. Her experience includes progressive and intermediate care.

She began her career in 2018 after graduating with her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Trident Technical College. In 2022 she pursued her Master of Science in Nursing at Capella University.

In 2023, Susan felt that it was time for her to step away from the bedside to help mold the next generation of nurses. Susan was an adjunct with the Charleston Southern University Nursing program where she fell in love with the passion and excellence within the College of Nursing and accepted a full time position in the college.

Susan looks forward to sharing her passion for both Jesus and nursing to mold and create future leaders in the healthcare field.
