Dr. Dawn Casas is an Assistant Professor of Communication at Charleston Southern University. She teaches Interpersonal Communication and Public Speaking. Dr. Casas’ research interests include interpersonal and intercultural communication. Her doctoral dissertation examined the conflict adaptations of bi-ethnic marriages. First and foremost, Dr. Casas views herself as a teacher, seeking to make the concepts of her courses come alive to students and for them to find ways to apply theory to their everyday lives.
