CREDENTIALS

PT, DPT

Dr. Bartleson is an Assistant Professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Charleston Southern University. She has been a practicing physical therapist since 1995 and began teaching in entry-level PT education as a guest lecturer and then adjunct instructor in 2015. She entered a full-time academic career in 2024 as a faculty member at CSU. Dr. Bartleson received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC, and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from A. T. Still University of Health Sciences in Mesa, Arizona. Dr. Bartleson has been a Board-Certified Pediatric Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties since 2019 and has over 28 years of clinical practice experience in pediatric physical therapy.

Coming from many years of working for secular organizations, I chose to work at CSU to be surrounded by other Christian faculty where being uplifting and supportive of our faith in Jesus Christ would be encouraged.
