Dr. Amy Albrecht is a Professor of Biochemistry. She taught high school science for one and a half years and worked as a chemist for North Dakota Department of Health for four years. She has a Doctor of Philosophy in biochemistry/molecular biology from University of North Dakota, and she joined CSU in 2009. She has conducted prostate cancer research projects, and her current research project investigates the effects of alternative treatments on breast cancer and the link between spirituality and health of Charleston Southern University students. She has been married to Mark Albrecht since 1997 and has six children.
