CSU operating on two-hour delay on Monday, Jan. 8

The CSU campus will open on a two-hour delay on Monday, January 8. All university offices will open at 10 a.m. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to allow extra time when traveling to campus and use caution as some secondary roads are still unsafe and motorists will drive slower. All classes will begin on Monday, January 8 at 10 a.m. All 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. classes are canceled. Students unable to return to campus due to poor road conditions or canceled flights will be shown leniency in regard to attendance. Residence life staff will check residential students in as scheduled on Sunday, January 7 from 3 – 6 p.m. Any resident experiencing delays should communicate with the residence life staff (reslife@csuniv.edu) of their expected arrival date and time. The dining hall is currently open. The new undergraduate student orientation will proceed as scheduled on Sunday, January 7 from 6 – 8 p.m. in the Whitfield Center for Christian Leadership, Rooms 102 and 103. The Spring Clinical Intern Meeting for the College of Education on Monday, January 8 will take place at 10:30 a.m. rather than 8:30 a.m. Please continue to monitor the website and social media for additional updates.
