Spring 2023 Nursing Pinning Ceremony
Since 1860, when Florence Nightingale was awarded the Red Cross of St. George for her selfless service to the injured and dying during the Crimean War, pinning ceremonies have come to represent the momentous rite of passage from student to practitioner. Each graduate receives a school pin that is worn proudly after graduation at work when the graduate now becomes a registered nurse. Each nursing program has a special, individualized pin that symbolizes the essence of the university, college, and nursing program.
- Time and date: Wednesday, May 3 at 3 p.m.
- Location: Lightsey Chapel
- Who is invited: College of Nursing May 2023 BSN, Accelerated BSN, and MSN graduates and their family and friends; CSU CON faculty/staff.
