BucCareer Network joins Handshake

By Dr. Nina grant | September 9, 2022

The Career Center joined the Handshake family, a popular career-services platform available to students and alumni, in spring 2020.

Handshake’s early talent recruitment platform utilizes innovative technology to connect students and alumni to employers for internship and career opportunities and provides information on career development programs, events, and workshops.

Students and alumni can create a Handshake profile, and find jobs that are a good fit for them will display on their page. They can also filter and search through jobs and internships based on their interests and discover new possibilities. Best of all, recruiters can message students directly with event invites and job opportunities.

Be sure to send your resume to the Career Center before uploading your resume to your profile and sharing with employers. Need to meet with a Career Center team member? You can schedule an appointment in the Handshake portal.

The Career Center is receiving approximately 3,000 job postings monthly!

Employers use Handshake as a recruitment tool to post career, volunteer, and internship opportunities, identify candidates for various positions, as well as register for career fairs and events.
