Jon Davis

Jonathan Davis has been married to his wife Lynette Davis since 1989. They have four children (one daughter and three sons), a daughter-in-law, a son-in-law, and one grandchild. Davis came to CSU as an Assistant Football Coach in 1991 from Temple University and served in that position until 1999. During his tenure as Assistant Football Coach, he accepted the call as a bi-vocational pastor at Summit Church. Currently, he still serves Summit Church as their pastor.

In 2003, Davis began teaching at CSU as an Adjunct Professor in the College of Christian Studies, which he still teaches today. In 2004, he became the Assistant Campus Minister. During 2011, Davis moved into the position as Campus Minister. In 2019, he was promoted to Assistant VP of Spiritual Life.

In the Office of Spiritual Life, we seek to reach students with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, raise them in the Gospel through discipleship, and release them to live a life on mission with Jesus. We go the extra mile by being there for students as they seek to discover God's calling on their lives through mission opportunities, worship gatherings, and discipleship groups.
