Lynne Mann is a Registered Nurse and Certified Nurse Educator with a clinical background in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing and Community Health Nursing. Mann earned a Master of Nursing degree from University of Technology, Sydney in Australia in 2006 and she has both US and Australian citizenship since living in Australia for seven years. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Virginia in 1971. She currently teaches Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing each semester and she also teaches Community Health Nursing as needed in the undergraduate nursing program. Mann has also previously taught Community Health Nursing online in the graduate program at CSU. Her research interests include the inclusion of spirituality and faith-based learning in the undergraduate nursing curriculum and enhanced preparation of nursing students for working with psychiatric patients in clinical experiences. She is an elected representative from the College of Nursing on the CSU University Faculty Senate, a member and past Chair of the Programs, Resources and Evaluation (PRE) Committee, a former member of the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee, and a former Chair and member of the initial Testing Committee at the College of Nursing. Mann also has served as Administrator of the ExamSoft Testing Program since initiation of its use by the CSU undergraduate and accelerated BSN students. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association with service on APNA Leadership Committee, Education Council, and the APNA Steering Committee for Mental Health Advocacy.  She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society and the National League of Nurses. Mann has been in nursing education for 22 years and retired December 2013 from Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing prior to beginning work at CSU in January 2014.
