On Charleston Southern’s campus, the Spanish Club and Sigma Delta Pi will be hosting a special event on Monday, September 16 at 6 p.m. in the Whitfield Center for Christian Leadership 102. Tony Casas will be the guest speaker, and snacks and drinks will be provided. It’s free! And students will have a chance to win Charleston Battery tickets.

The Charleston Battery is hosting a Hispanic Heritage Night on September 21 at 7:30 p.m. Our own Charleston Battery team will be playing the Tampa Bay Rowdies at the Patriots Point Athletics Complex. CSU students can purchase tickets online for only $5 at this link!

The Charleston Southern International Club will be having a Hispanic Heritage Celebration! This event occurs on September 25th in room WCCL 116 from 6:00-7:30 p.m.

On September 27, Hutchinson Square Park is hosting the Fiesta on the Square from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Chamber Music of Charleston is hosting this free event, featuring musicians from the Chamber of Music Charleston, Luigi Bravo of Latin Groove, and much more.

Finally, the North Charleston Wannamaker County Park is hosting a Latin American Festival. This event is on October 6 from noon to 5 p.m. There will be everything from salsa lessons to musical performances, priced at $25 per car as an entry fee.
