Prof. Gravely has had the privilege of teaching at the elementary school, middle school, high school, and college levels. She enjoys researching rhetoricians and methods in the classical tradition such as Desiderius Erasmus, Mary Astell, and the progymnasmata.

Charleston Southern University appeals to me because it provides space for me to teach with a dual approach. I want to help students become better thinkers and writers, but I also want to share Christ with them and strengthen them in the faith. I am thankful to be on a campus where I can regularly share my faith with students and be encouraged in Christ by fellow colleagues while pursuing excellence in my field.
