Living Works ASIST
At a LivingWorks ASIST workshop, you’ll learn how to prevent suicide by recognizing signs, providing a skilled intervention, and developing a safety plan to keep someone alive. Two knowledgeable, supportive trainers will guide you through the course, ensuring your comfort and safety. Like all of LivingWorks’ core programs, LivingWorks ASIST is evidence-based.
30 slots available at $250.00 each. Includes materials, lunch, and refreshments Monday and Tuesday.
USAF Ret Col. Mike Heuer will be our main trainer.
Parking at the University is free and upon registration a parking pass will be emailed to you.
The workshop will be held in room 103 of the Whitfield Center for Christian Leadership at Charleston Southern University. Upon registration a map of the university and floor plan of the building will be emailed to you detailing where the class is and where to park. If you are traveling to Charleston, we recommend Fairfield Inns and Suites at (843)414-2700 or Hampton Inns and Suites at (843) 735-7500. Both hotels are within a mile of the university.
