Continuing your path in physical therapy

The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at Charleston Southern University is 2.5 years of hands-on and interactive education that will allow graduates to sit for the National Physical Therapy Examination. Core faculty hold a doctoral degree and teach students to incorporate contemporary evidence with interprofessional collaboration to be leaders in the profession.

In addition to classroom learning, students will complete a variety of clinical and service-learning experiences. The DPT degree culminates in a faculty-mentored research project that can be presented at a state or national conference. Students also have the opportunity to participate in organizations like the physical therapy club.

Our application portal through PTCAS, for the 2024 – 2025 admissions cycle, will be open June 15, 2024 – March 1, 2025. Find out more information about the admissions process.
