Serving in Christian ministry for over 20 years, first as an educator and then as the first campus visit coordinator for Charleston Southern University, Shelley is enthusiastic about empowering and equipping students to pursue their educational goals and their divine purpose. Understanding the value of a Christian education and the impact student scholarships play in achieving academic goals motivates her in her new role.
Shelley is married with three children: Ashley, AJ, and Kasi. Her children, as well as her son-in-law and daughter-in-law, attended Charleston Southern University and now call CSU their alma mater.

Student scholarships, along with academic excellence, were deciding factors in my children choosing Charleston Southern for their higher education. The generosity of CSU’s family and friends aided my children in earning their degrees while easing their financial burdens. With heartfelt gratitude I desire to support our current and prospective students in their pursuit of academic excellence at Charleston Southern University.
